In the digital age, I’ve found myself reading more than ever before. The topic that has captured my attention is the gradual erosion of critical thinking, a phenomenon that, in my view, will have more profound implications for humanity than even the rapid advancements in Artificial Intelligence.

The Digital Challenge

As we navigate through the future, the importance of reading and comprehension becomes increasingly evident. Many of the applications we use daily, such as Discord, Telegram, and WhatsApp, are replete with instructions that demand intensive reading. Joining a server or advancing within a community group requires following numerous steps, a process that can be frustrating even for the most experienced reader.

This experience is reminiscent of the challenges many of us faced when learning to code. Without a solid understanding of the instructions, we found ourselves repeating the same mistakes. This underscores the importance of critical thinking and comprehension in our increasingly digital world.
